Cyber bullying

Introduction

Do you know what it feels like to be cyber bullied? Do your friends get cyber bullied?  Did you know 43% of kids have been bullied online and 70% of adults or students  have reported seeing people being bullied online. That's not right i’m going to be talking about cyber bullying.

Have you ever been texted mean things and don't understand why you were sent it?  When it comes to cyber bullying, the bully is often motivated by anger or they are frustrated or jealous of you.

A Fact you might not know. 90% of teens think cyber bullying is mean because it's hurts people's feelings.  Many teenagers old commit suicide over Cyber bullying. Another fact is  20% of people haven’t told a parent or teacher that they have been or is being cyber bullied.

What you do if u receive a mean text.  Have you been bullied and have no idea what to do? Here is my advice. If you receive a mean text don’t

reply. If you did nothing wrong then it just means the person wants to bully you or just angry at you for some weird reason.  

So what should you do? Know that is not your fault and ignore them and block them. You should delete their message and or if it happens a  lot save it as save evidence. Tell a parent, someone you trust or teacher and don’t let them get to you. If your friend is being bullied,  give them this good advice about cyber bullying to cheer them up and tell them to use an I CAN attitude.

Concluding Statement

Will Cyber bullying ever stop? If it keeps going on who will stop it? Who will end it? You can stop cyber bullying! You can stop it by being kind, sensible and nice to others. Think before you write anything on the internet.

The Mighty Gorilla

The Mighty Gorilla

Did you know the mighty Gorilla is an endangered animal? Gorillas are fascinating creatures and live mainly live in Rwanda and other many countries in Africa.

What do Gorillas look like?

The Gorilla is big and strong. It can grow up to 1.80cms or 6 feet tall. Gorilla’s arms are longer than their lgs and they also have 32 shiny sharp unbrushed teeth. They can live up to 35 or 40 years old. They have black fluffy furry fur. They have 10 toes and 10 fingers. Their toes and hands look exactly the same.

Diet

Gorillas stick to a mainly vegetarian diet. Gorillas need a lot of food up to 20kgs a day, if they don't get enough food they will probably die. Gorillas eat bamboo, fruits, stems and random plants.

Habitat

All gorillas live in Africa. Mountain gorillas live in Rwanda. They live somewhere which is 10,000 feet up, where it's cloudy, misty and cold. But don’t worry if it’s going to be cold because gorillas have fur to keep themself warm. Lowland gorillas live in the forests of Central Western Africa. They moved around depending on how much food is there.

Samoan Language Week 2017

Here is my Samoan Language week 2017 work it was really fun making this so Enjoy.

Science in a van day.

Today Room 21 and many other classes came to Science in the van well its not Science in a van.Its actually a show or as many people say people that do Science.There were two Scientist Emily and Allen the first thing the showed us which is really cool its the table pull.So technically there is a table covered in a towel or a sheet then they put cups and plates forks or spoons on it.Then they carefully pull  the sheet making the spoon and fork and other items stay still on the table and never get knocked over.It was so fun seeing Allen and Emily from Science in the van I had a lot of fun.

All the Room 21 girls rocking their costumes! I really thought it was a good idea to join in with race relations day because we are showing how proud we are of our cultures. I love the costumes, girls,you look wonderful. Keep smiling.
